With a strong commitment to justice and client advocacy, Attorney Evelyn Marquis focuses her practice on criminal defense. As a Bar Advocate with the Committee for Public Counsel Services, she provides dedicated legal representation to clients throughout Worcester County, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights protected.

A lifelong resident of Worcester County, Evelyn began her academic journey at Suffolk University, where she earned both a Bachelor of Science in Law and Philosophy and a Master of Arts in Politics. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from the Massachusetts School of Law, where she was honored with the Best Advocate Award and represented her school on The American Association for Justice Trial Team.

Before becoming an attorney, Evelyn gained valuable legal and corporate experience at Fresenius Medical Care in the North American Law Department, where she supported a team of attorneys and specialized in drafting and reviewing contracts. She also served with the Worcester County Sheriff’s Department in the Community Corrections Division, assisting individuals participating in community-based rehabilitation programs. Earlier in her career, she interned with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in the Child Protection Unit, supporting efforts to safeguard vulnerable children and families.
