Evelyn B. Marquis, Esq.
Evelyn focuses her practice in criminal defense and civil rights cases. She is also a bar advocate with the Committee for Public Counsel Services where she assists clients throughout Worcester County.
Evelyn grew up in Worcester County. After high school, she attended Suffolk University and received a Bachelor of Science in Law and Philosophy and a Master of Arts in Politics. She then studied at the Massachusetts School of Law where she obtained her Juris Doctorate. At Massachusetts School of Law, she received the Best Advocate Award and participated on The American Association for Justice trial team.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Evelyn worked at Fresenius Medical Care in the North American law department. During her time at Fresenius, she supported a team of attorneys and specialized in drafting and reviewing contracts.
Evelyn has experience working with the Worcester County Sheriff’s Department in the community corrections department where she helped individuals in the community corrections program. She also interned with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office and was assigned to the child’s protection unit.
